The Ministry of Health enable the appointment this Thursday to obtain the COVID EU digital certificate vaccination through the Astursalud portal. This document It can be collected in person from Monday, June 14, in the Citizen Attention Services, located in the hospitals of the different health areas.
The certificate, which certifies vaccination, recovery from the disease or a negative diagnostic test for coronavirus, facilitates mobility between countries of the European Union. It will be broadcast on digital or paper format, in Spanish and English, and will include a QR code which will make it possible to read it in ports and airports, while avoiding possible forgeries. The accreditation will come into effect on July 1. “It is simple, safe, reliable and free and can be obtained in electronic or paper format”, explained the general director of Quality, Knowledge Management and Transformation, Elena Llorente.

Salud recommends that citizens request the certificate digitally, because in this case its emission will be immediate. However, it is necessary to have a digital certificate or Cl @ ve. Subsequently, the counseling will enable the issuance of the certification for people who have passed COVID-19, as well as for those that have obtained a negative result in a PCR carried out in the previous 72 hours.
This certificate is useful to travel to member countries of the European Union, but it is not necessary to move around Spain. It is also not mandatory to travel, although some nations may request additional measures, such as quarantines, from people who do not have it.
