The Ministry of Health has confirmed 68 new cases of coronavirus diagnosed in the last 24 hours. The General Directorate of Public Health has identified close contacts of known cases and continues with the analysis to establish the epidemiological links of the rest. Affected people have mild symptoms and remain isolated in their homes.

On the other hand, yesterday they registered three hospital admissions and one in the ICU that affect cases diagnosed in the past days. Health also confirms the death of an 82-year-old woman that is not related to residential socio-sanitary centers.

The Principality Health Service (Sespa) strengthens the hotline to the citizenship CovidAstur Respond (984 100 400), with two more professionals, to handle all calls related to the disease or calls for extended studies.

Yesterday they were held in Asturias 2,295 PCR tests and the positivity rate of these tests was placed in the 2,96%.

Health reiterates the appeal so that people residing in the Laviana born between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2007 (young people from 13 to 18 years old) request a PCR test. To do this, they must fill in the form available at the following link on the web Astursalud or call 984 100 400.

The young boys who are waiting for Sespa to contact them to practice the test must limit your social life, monitor your health and comply with the protection measures: frequent hand washing, use of the mask and maintaining an interpersonal distance of at least one and a half meters.

When a positive is confirmed for coronavirus, the Service of Epidemiological surveillance se pone in contact with each of the people diagnosed to collect more information about them and about those with whom you have had a relationship, which become close contacts. Later, the group of trackers communicates with each contact.
