“Astronomy Day at ELTE Gotthard Observatory in Szombathely, Hungary in 2023”

On Friday, April 28, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., we cordially invite all interested people to our evening opening hours at the Gothard Astrophysical Observatory (Szent Imre Herzeg útja 112).
In case of good weather (clear sky), during the evening observations, our staff will show the interested people the current sights of the sky with the telescopes of the institute, our main targets will be Venus and the Moon.
In case of bad weather, the Gothard Science and Technology History Permanent Exhibition will be open for viewing.
Children are also welcome, prior registration is NOT required.
