Suara.com – National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (EIGHT) shared astronomical phenomenon which occurred during the third week or 18-22 November 2021.
Launching the LAPAN Space Science Education site, Sunday (11/14/2021), the phenomenon starts from Puncak Leonid Meteor Shower, Partial Lunar Eclipse, Phase Full moon near the Ascending Knot and Pleiades Cluster, Moon Apoge, and Alpha Monocerotid Meteor Shower Peak.
The following are astronomical phenomena during 18-22 November 2021:
1. 18 – 19 November – Peak of the Leonid Meteor Shower

Leonids are meteor showers whose radiant point or origin is in the constellation Leo.
This meteor shower is active from November 6 to 30 and its maximum intensity occurs on November 19 at 04.15 WIB, 05.15 WITA, and 06.15 WIT.
Leonid can be seen from 00.30 local time until the end of dawn, or 25 minutes before sunrise, from east-northeast to north-northeast.
Make sure the field of view is free from obstructions, light pollution and clouds when observing this meteor shower. No need to use any tools unless you want to record it.
2. November 19 – Partial Lunar Eclipse
Some parts of Indonesia will experience a Partial Lunar Eclipse, the peak of which will occur at 16.02.56 WIB, 17.02.56 WITA, or 18.02.56 WIT.
