A statement by the Institute of Astronomy indicated that the new crescent will remain in the sky of Makkah Al-Mukarramah for a period of 29 minutes, and in Cairo for a period of 36 minutes after sunset on that day (the day of sighting), and in the governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the new crescent will remain in its sky for periods ranging from (31-37). minute). In Arab and Islamic capitals and cities, the new crescent will remain after sunset on that day for periods ranging from (7-44 minutes)..
