“Astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi Celebrates Birthday in Space with International Station Family”

Yesterday, the astronauts aboard the International Space Station celebrated the birthday of the Emirati astronaut, Sultan Al Neyadi, with cake and a symbolic candle.

Al-Neyadi commented: “The first birthday on which I celebrate space. The feeling is indescribable here with the colleagues who have become my second family…a cake from America and another from Russia, and the most beautiful thing is that I received congratulations in Arabic from Rayana and Ali.”

And he posted on “Twitter”, two pictures of him with his fellow pioneers aboard the International Station, in a celebration marking his birthday, in which he completed his 42nd year in space, so that his other colleagues could celebrate him.

And he expressed his feeling of joy, because he was celebrating his birthday among his second family in space, and receiving a cake from the United States of America and another from Russia, in addition to receiving congratulations in Arabic from the Saudi pioneers, Rayana Bernawi and Ali Al-Qarni.
