“Since childhood, I have looked at the stars and dreamed a lot about them. I would never have imagined that there would also be a star with my name far away in the direction of the Sagittarius constellation,” says well-known astrologer Andris Račs.
“I am a star! The first course gave me an extremely happy surprise, presenting me with the registration of the star “Andris Racs” in the star register. I am very, very happy!” admits the astrologer, head of the Andras Rača School of Astrology, who celebrated his 60th birthday on February 15.
In a conversation with »Vakara Zinău«, Andris Račs admits that he had never even imagined, let alone told someone, that he would like a star to be named after him, so the gift from the students was a great and exciting surprise. “I couldn’t even imagine that I could want something like that,” he adds with a smile.
Asked if he can also see his star in the sky with the naked eye, the astrologer explains: «It can be seen by the register number on the Internet website «Star-Register.eu» or in the mobile application, the registration number is C1293EF74. I’ve had a look there – it’s not super bright, but it’s very beautiful,” he happily says, adding that now everything is very simple with applications – just turn your phone towards the sky and you can explore everything.
“Of course, I want to see it for real, but I don’t have a telescope. If ever there is, I will be able to study not only on the phone. It is also not yet possible to be outside the city at night to look at the starry sky. I’m not in a hurry to enjoy good things, I’ll get them. Before that, you just need to find out when it can be best seen,” says the astrologer, adding that the star named after him is close to Sagittarius, which corresponds well to his own horoscope.
But the students gave Andri Račs not only a star. They pamper their teacher with various lovely gifts – warm woolen socks, delicious honey, reading materials and gift cards.
