Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – There are many different types of Covid-19 vaccines used in current government vaccination programs. Some of them are AstraZeneca and Pfizer.
Like the others, the two vaccines already have an emergency use authorization (EUA) from the POM Agency. AstraZeneca got it last March while Pfizer got it in July.
Both AstraZeneca and Pfizer also have side effects on their recipients. Some of them have almost the same side effects. Starting from just sore at the injection site to cause a fever.

AstraZeneca
During a press conference on the issuance of the EUA last March, the Head of the POM, Penny Lukito, mentioned a number of side effects from the use of this vaccine. It is said in clinical study reports that it is generally moderate and inflammatory.
Penny said the side effects that are often reported are local reactions of pain when pressed, pain, redness, itching and swelling. There are also systemic reactions, such as fatigue, headache, muscle aches, chills, joint pain, nausea, and vomiting.
Pfizer
Meanwhile, when the EUA was published last July, it was stated that Pfizer also had various kinds of side effects. Such as pain at the injection site, fatigue, and muscle aches. It is also possible to feel the side effects of chills, joint pain, and fever.
