AstraZeneca has started trials of a vaccine against several variants of the coronavirus.
The new vaccine is designed to protect citizens from the beta variant that was first discovered in South Africa.
The trial will be carried out on people who have been vaccinated and have not been vaccinated.
For those who have not been vaccinated, this new dose will replace the second dose in the vaccination schedule.
Meanwhile, for those who have been vaccinated, two new doses will be given 12 weeks apart.
