One only has to read the British press to realize that on the other side of the English Channel the debate on the use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine as if it were a matter of national pride or a most passionate sports competition. The decision of the European Medicines Agency last Thursday was followed with equal or greater interest in London than in Brussels, because the British Government has put the vaccination process with “its” vaccine as the main flag to defend the correctness of its decision to leave the EU.
