Aston Villa is set to challenge Tottenham Hotspur for Norwich City star Todd Cantwell if they cannot reach a deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Leon Bailey this summer, for 90 minutes.
Leverkusen have already turned down a £ 25 million offer from the Villans for the Jamaican and want to sell more than £ 30 million. Bailey also has interest from several other Premier League teams in Everton, Leicester, Southampton and Wolves, although none have made an offer yet.
Aston Villa is stepping up its efforts to sign Bailey in response to his rejected offer. The Villans are in contact with both their Bundesliga team and their agent to discuss North Rhine-Westphalia’s departure for Birmingham.

Bailey is also ready to leave Leverkusen after four years, feeling that now is the time for a new challenge. The 23-year-old will work to leave BayArena once he returns to preseason after representing Jamaica in the Gold Cup.
However, Aston Villa is ready to attack Norwich for Cantwell if they are not Bailey’s side picks. The Canarias product changed its form to help the Carrow Road team ensure their immediate return to the Premier League last season.

Cantwell ignited the top flight during his first few months in the division before coming to a boil. He offered each of his six goals and two assists for the 2019/20 season for New Year’s Day. But the 23-year-old scored six goals and seven assists to win the Championship.
