Aston Villa fails to take the lead in English football

A double by Liam Delap in the eighth and 72nd minutes buried the hopes of the club coached by the Spanish Unai Emery.

Morgan Rogers (m. 15) and Ollie Watkins (32) scored the goals for Emery’s men, fifth in the standings.

Manchester United continued with its poor start to the season, falling 0-3 against Tottenham, also in need of a win to get closer to the European zone of the table.

A goal after three minutes from Brennan Johnson did damage at Old Trafford and the Red Devils could not prevent two more from the Swede Dejan Kulusevski (47) and Dominic Solanke (77)

The Red Devils thus remained with seven points in 12th place and one victory in the last five games.
