The luxury automaker Aston Martin and architect David Adjaye collaborate in the design of five exclusive homes at 130 William, a new luxury residential complex in New York City. Three high-standing apartments and two penthouses that will go on the market from four to 11 million dollars, between 3.2 million euros and 9.4 million.
Sir David Adjaye and Aston Martin Creative Director Marek Reichman worked together on this project to bring the spirit of Aston Martin’s elegant design and craftsmanship into custom architecture and handcrafted interiors at 130 William. With 244 meters high, and 66 floors, the entire complex has 242 residences, and more than 20,000 m2 of amenities and a new park.
The building will feature a custom, handcrafted façade with bronze accents, a contemporary interpretation of the masonry that characterized classic Manhattan architecture. Another signature feature is the silhouette of large-scale arched windows that are inspired by loved ones. lofts that once populated this area of New York.
The five signature Aston Martin apartments will be fully furnished on the 59th and 60th floors. Each home features an open-air gallery that spans the entire length of the residence and is located behind the building’s facade. Buyers have the option of customizing one of the rooms, such as a racing simulator, an office and library space, or an additional bedroom.
Among the amenities of this luxury construction will be an ‘infinity pool’, hot and cold plunge pools, sauna and massage rooms, as well as a state-of-the-art gym and spa with terrace, yoga studio and basketball court. Residents will also enjoy a private IMAX movie theater, golf simulator, resident lounge, club and game room, kitchen with a private dining room, children’s activity center, pet spa, outdoor decks and a deck of private observation on the roof.
