Aston Martin is a valhalla, a flat hybrid with 950 horsepower

Valhala is part of the British carmaker’s portfolio under the extreme Valkyrie model. Although the car is similarly non-negotiable, the production, which will start in 2023, should not be limited. This model was first seen in 2019 as a pre-production concept. Since then, it has undergone many changes inside and out.

Valhalla is reminiscent of racing endurance specials. The front part stretches the familiar shape of the mask to the edges of the bumper, the car has a very low silhouette and thanks to advanced aerodynamics, it does without a rear spoiler. The carmaker has not yet shown the interior, but it should be more civilized than in the case of the mentioned Valkyrie.

The drive system is a plug-in hybrid, so it can be recharged externally. However, the front electric motor alone can only cover 15 kilometers. The combination of three engines is important. One combustion and two electric.

The eight-cylinder located in the middle works with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, has two turbochargers and a four-liter volume. It comes from Mercedes-AMG and offers 552 kilowatts, 750 horsepower. Electric motors add 150 kW, 204 hp. The system values of the device are 699 kW, 950 hp, and 1000 Nm of torque.

Acceleration from zero to 100 km / h takes only 2.5 seconds, the maximum speed is 330 km / h. Aston Martin promises weights under 1,500 kilograms. The pushrod-type front suspension is said to be inspired by Formula 1.

The price will start at around 600,000 pounds, ie approximately 18 million crowns.
