Asteras – OFI 3-0: Easy victory for Arcades, they moved up to 5th place! –

Asteras Tripoli scored three goals in the second half of their match against OFI (3-0) and with the “three points” of the victory they climbed to 5th place in the Super League1 standings. The guests had chances while the match was at 0-0 to open the scoring, but Foundas was their fatal player.

The game had a pace from the start and the first chance was missed for the visitors by Makic in the 5th minute. In the 18th minute Kaltsas was off target and in the 20th minute Triantafyllopoulos stopped a shot by Gondhaleth.

The Cretan team was more aggressive and in the 25th and 27th Founas missed from an advantageous position. Asteras responded in the 28th minute with Kaltsa who did not “see” the net.

The second half started with a goal for the Arkades. In the 47th minute, Bartolo executed a corner from the left, Houhoumis took the header and made it 1-0.

In the next minute, Fountas missed another opportunity and in the 56th minute it became 2-0. Crespi found Makeda and he defeated Naumov for the second time with a pin.

Asteras dominated the second half and scored a third goal in the 75th minute. Bartolo committed a foul, Jandaris took the header and Alagbe made it 3-0 with a projection.
