Association related to “Harmony” youth together with candidates for the position of Riga mayor during the crisis Covid-19 helped pensioners – Abroad – News

They actively filmed and shared videos of how food was collected from entrepreneurs and distributed to the elderly. Even Russian television NTV dedicated the plot to it. Movement activist Daniils Ulyanovs spoke at it.

Veterans are being supported by volunteers, all in the context of a national emergency. For example, leaving a shipment of products at the veteran’s door.

Veterans’ organizations also turn to us and send lists of people whose pensions are 250, 100 euros and therefore it is simply not possible to survive.

These are not just volunteers, but young people from the “Harmony” party. Uljanovs has worked in the “Harmony” faction in the Riga City Council and has been appointed as an assistant to two Saeima deputies.

In an interview with journalists, he could not remember who exactly. The food collection campaign is over. Currently, the movement takes care of animals in shelters, helps and paints playgrounds. Saeima deputy Regīna Ločmele-Luņova confirms that her assistant, who will run in the Riga City Council elections, is also active in the movement.

“It’s so much about the party that there are three people in it, including my assistant, Alexander Simignayeva. The idea was precisely because there are young people who want to do something,” Lochmele-Lunova explained.

“And we have to figure out what to do for them, and we, so to speak, the idea of charity is pretty standard, and on the contrary, I tried to dissuade them and divert them from such standard moves there with orphanages and so on, if and look at this. problem a little more broadly, “explained the deputy.

Even before the virus crisis, Konstantin Chekushin, a little-known IT specialist, was chosen as the “Leader of Harmony”. Boriss Cilevičs recommended them to his party members.

Together, the two are active participants in the Chekushin-led mind game club. Party leader Jānis Urbanovičs has urged the candidate for mayor of Riga not to talk to journalists. He does not stand out with special activity in remote party meetings either.

For the former owners of Riga, “Sadarbai”, the list was made behind closed doors in high tones. One group only wanted to see new faces there, such as youth activists. Nila Ushakov’s wing insisted on the old shots. The result is something in the middle.

“In fact, the opinion is divided, I can say that it has become popular on two sides. Which one party, including me, thought that a completely new team should be pushed to the Riga City Council elections and all those who worked now must meet in the previous term. “They should not be barred from running, but they should be moved to the other side of the list, and even the opinion was expressed, if I remember correctly from the party chairman, that they should be barred from running at all,” explained Vyacheslav Dombrovskis.

“And, of course, another view, mainly from Mr Ushakov, was that the old team was going to the election. The end result is something, I can’t say in the middle. But where on the first list you could say that the first camp has won , but for a large part of the rest of the list won Ushakov ‘s opinion, “added Ushakov.

Interestingly, Dmitry Yermolayev, a former employee of the Russian Embassy in Latvia living in Moscow, was the first to announce that he was the leader of the list on social networks.

On February 17, he wrote on his Facebook account: “It’s a liter that Konstantin Chekushin will be the mayoral candidate nominated by S Harmonas.”

Chekushin began to speak publicly as a candidate nine days later. It should be reminded that Jermolajev is not allowed to enter Latvia. In turn, KPV LV and JKP could probably decide in the new week who will be their candidates for the position of Riga mayor.
