Matti-Lukka Bahro from second division relegated SV Fischbach (near Hochspeyer) and Melanie Hellhorst from former German team champions TV Mainz- Zahlbach were the most successful participants with two first places each. The representatives of the organizers SG Pirmasens/Münchweiler held their own quite satisfactorily against the sometimes very good competition. The best result was fourth place in the men’s doubles by Yannic Brandstetter and Christoph Marx, who lost the small final in the third set. The mixed doubles Christopher Salzmann/Franziska Brandstetter and the men’s doubles Vincent Brandstetter/Jobin Joseph were unlucky, as they did not make it into the main draw due to unfavorable draws.
