The Association of Course Relatives (APC) is stepping up once again after being the recipient of a video showing two middle school students from the Segpa of the establishment of Fiumorbo fight in the corridors of the establishment.

However, yielding to parental requests, he joined a class of 6e bilingual. Excluded nearly thirty times during this course for inappropriate behavior, the student will be at the origin, last March, of the disengagement of the teaching staff, the authority of a teacher having been challenged by the administration.

Indeed, after having insulted the teacher, T. is given an exclusion order but his father does not respect it and the child, the next day, is accepted into the school grounds, provoking the ire of the teachers. . “We wrote to the rector on the subject, giving our total support to the staff of National Education, victims of real harassment on the part of the father. Taking refuge behind ethnic considerations, the latter files complaints, withdraws them “, involves associations. The head of the APC for the region does not understand the lack of responsiveness of the management of the establishment and calls for a disciplinary council. Following this incident, a meeting was organized at Bastia in the presence of the academic director of the services of theEducation nationale.
T. is moved to Segpa class with the agreement of the father, an orientation which had been proposed at the end of primary school. The student joins this class on May 9. Questioned by our care, the management team affirms that T. does not pose any more any problem since this date. However, recent events will demonstrate the opposite. The circulating video is shown to the mother of the child attacked in the fight. The latter, who also wished to remain anonymous, wanted to testify: “This video makes me aware of the situation. I dare not imagine what could have happened if the day of their fight, he had had it in his possession. I no longer put my son in progress because I’m very scared.”
Indeed, the facts are confirmed and the information collected, the management team has decided on the forthcoming implementation of a disciplinary council for this serious fact in addition to the many other misconduct committed by T. “Segpa’s class placement shifted the problem without solving it. Perhaps we should consider a solution other than that falling within the scope of the possibilities of National Education.
