This innovative initiative, spearheaded by Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, aims to strengthen health services and provide rapid rescue operations in remote areas along the Nile River.
The hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, includes an intensive care room and a small operating room. This setup enables it to reach citizens in villages and islands located along the Nile, ensuring timely medical intervention. “This service allows rapid intervention in river accidents, such as accidents on tourist boats or ferries that citizens use to move between islands and beaches,” explained Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr.
