Assistant coach Nörgaard has left Sparta to train in Denmark

According to the iSport.cz server, Lars Friis could replace Nörgaard, who heads to second division Sönderjysk. He has previously worked in Brentford and knows Prisk from working together in Midtjylland.

“It’s more about being able to be closer to my family and an opportunity that comes along from time to time. In football, timing is never good, so every once in a while you have to make a tough decision. Now I can be at home in Denmark , closer to my family and part of a project that looks really interesting,” explained Nörgaard, who arrived at Sparta together with Prisk in May this year, explaining his decision to leave.

Sparta considered releasing him for about two weeks. “Naturally, we discussed the whole situation with Tomáš Rosicky, whether it was possible for us to accept the request. In the end, we agreed to comply and release Thomas. I wish him only the best,” Priske said of one of his departing assistants .
