As noted in the press service, funds were received both from citizens and enterprises in Ukraine, and from the international community (in particular, from the USA, Great Britain, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, China, France).
Including more than UAH 2.8 billion equivalent received from abroad in foreign currency (US dollars, euros, pounds, Canadian dollars, Chinese renminbi, Japanese yen, Swiss francs, Polish zlotys, Australian dollars).
Of these funds, the NBU has already transferred more than UAH 5.7 billion for the needs of the military, in particular:
- for the needs of the National Guard of Ukraine – UAH 450 million (02.26.2022);
- for the needs of the National Police of Ukraine – UAH 850 million (02.28.2022 – UAH 150 million; 03.03.2022 – UAH 700 million);
- for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine – UAH 3,944.6 million (02/28/2022 – UAH 182.3 million; 03/01/2022 – UAH 675 million; 03/01/2022 – UAH 168 million; 03/02/2022 – UAH 1,999.3 million; 03/04/2022 – UAH 920 million);
- for the needs of the State Border Service – UAH 420 million (03.03.2022).
Now the balance of funds on the special account is UAH 4.3 billion.
