Deputies of the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia (PNG) called the representatives of Chisinau “assholes and whores”, accusing them of wanting to liquidate the autonomy, deprive Moldova of statehood and annex it to Romania.
The statement was released after a deputy from the ruling Moldovan presidential party “Action and Solidarity” (PDS) Nantou Oasis he called for revising the legislation and establishing more clearly the powers of Comrat and the former defense minister Anatoly Salaru he added that there are traitors in Gagauz politics.
deputy Victor Petrov held a press conference where he noted that the ruling party intends to abolish the autonomy.
“Representatives of the ruling parties and a number of government officials demonstrate the intention and plans of the Moldovan leadership to eliminate Gagauz’s autonomy. They believe that it is necessary to review the legislation and limit the powers of Comrat, effectively destroying the basis of autonomy”, says Petrov.
According to him, such statements are unacceptable, provoke inter-ethnic conflicts, neutralize the significant role of the Gagauz people in the development of the Moldovan state and can lead to an open conflict within the country.
Petrov recalled that earlier the Bashkan of Gagauzia (head of the administration) was expelled from the Supreme Security Council, and the head of the prosecutor’s office was expelled from the Supreme Prosecutors. Supported by a colleague Leonid Kiosyawho added that Gagauzia must protect himself in terms of information.
“The things they say against autonomy, against the deputies, against the inhabitants, must be discussed. These assholes are MPs, they are defense ministers. We must protect ourselves in the field of information. All portals and Facebook (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation) publish their statements, our deputies did not speak out”, Kyōshi said.
Vice president George Leichu no less harshly spoke of former Defense Minister Anatolia Salaru.
“These are Shalaru and other whores trying to bring discord into our ranks” said the deputy.
He also expressed dissatisfaction that the central authorities had not yet introduced criminal liability for those who demand the unification of Moldova with Romania, the trade unionists. Most PDS members, including the president of Moldova May and SanduPresident of the Parliament Igor Grosu and before Natalia Gavrilitsathey have a second Romanian citizenship and do not hide that they are in favor of unification with “Greater Romania”.
At the same time, the PDS parliamentary majority is preparing to adopt a law on criminal liability for separatism, which in Comrat was considered a fight against dissent.
“People who have dual citizenship and have taken an oath from a neighboring country work to a greater extent for the elimination of our country. The criminal liability rules for the liquidation of Moldova and for Romania’s applications for membership have not yet been adopted. At the same time, amendments and additions to the Criminal Code are being prepared in terms of the possibility of determining the corpus delicti of people like you and me, dissidents who will declare that Gagauzia has the right to external self-determination in the event of the loss of independence of the country, concluded George Leichu.
Recall that last week on the air of TVR Moldova, the deputy of the PDS, or, as he is called, “the spokesman of the parliamentary majority”, Oazu Nantoi, said that the Gagauz “want to turn Moldova into a Russian matryoshka” . He proposed to marginalize the “imaginary radicals” and support the “pragmatic and sane side of Gagauzia”. In turn, the former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova Anatolie Salaru argued that the autonomy of Gagauzia and the neutrality of Moldova were declared “under pressure from Russia.” He also said that among Gagauz politicians there are traitors who are trying to use the inhabitants of the region in the interests of Moscow.
