Father and son, aged 48 and 19, suffered serious injuries later this afternoon, after being attacked with a bladed weapon, in Parque da Trajinha, in Bragança.
According to Carlos Martins, commander of the local fire department, they had injuries “in the abdomen and dorsal region”.
According to the same official, the other victim is a 44-year-old woman, and suffered “injuries to her hands”. The victims are “a couple and their child”, he adds.
The alleged aggressor was, however, detained by the PSP. A misunderstanding in traffic will be at the origin of what happened.
The alert was given shortly after 7:30 pm and there were 10 firefighters at the scene, supported by four ambulances.
The victims were taken to Bragança hospital.
SUPPORT OUR WORK. SUPPORT PROXIMITY JOURNALISM.
At a time when information is more important than ever, support regional and outreach journalism. Access to most VTM news is (still) free, but it is not free, journalism costs money and requires investment. This contribution is a way of directly supporting A Voz de Trás-os-Montes and its journalists. Our counterpart is independent and proximity journalism, but not only. It’s continuing to report despite all the confinement contingencies, without stopping for a single day.
