The Ministry of Health affirms its commitment “to continue to work in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, to secure hospitals and to intensify patrols around the emergency services, to preserve the agents there and guarantee the smooth operation of the public health service ”.
Following the assault that occurred on the night of Friday 25 to Saturday 26 December 2020 against health officials from the Mongi Ben Hamida Neurological Institute, during the performance of their professional duty, the Ministry of Health expresses its strong condemnation of this “criminal act”.
The same department expresses its “total solidarity with the victims of this horrific attack”, announcing its intention to take legal action against the culprits and guarantee their judgment.
