A 34-year-old woman from Offenbach was on her way home yesterday, Monday evening (18th), around 10:50 p.m., when she was approached from behind by an unknown person in Lämmerplayer Weg (house numbers 80) in Offenbach.
The previously unknown person, around 1.70 meters tall, darkly dressed and of strong build, was masked with a scarf. She pushed, punched and kicked the victim and tried to forcefully snatch his handbag. Due to the vehement resistance, the Offenbach resident managed to put the unknown person away.
The criminal police in Offenbach have started the investigation and are now looking for witnesses who should please call 069/8098-1234.
