After multiple leaks, including release date and 30 minutes of gameplay, we expected more new things from the side ofAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Ubisoft Forward however showed gameplay for the title, which had not yet been shown.
Confirmed release date
We learn more about the raids, with the female version of Eivor, who plundered English villages here in order to fortify his camp. This episode also emphasizes the different ways of fighting, with the possibility of carrying a weapon of any type in each hand, like two shields.
Additional gameplay was shown right after the conference for a better overview, but the latter is just a cleaner version of what had been leaked.
The presentation ended with the announcement of the release date, which is not surprising. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available from 17 novembre sur PC (Uplay et Epic Games Store), Stadia, PlayStation 4 et Xbox One.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions should either arrive at the same time or in very close timing, but we will have to wait for the release date of these consoles to find out. In addition, we learn that if you buy the game on One and PS4, you can get it on Series X and PS5 respectively at no additional cost, both physical and dematerialized. The title is available at preorder.
An EP of the game’s soundtrack is also available for pre-order and will be released on July 17 on Spotify and iTunes. It therefore contains seven songs by Jesper Kyd, Sarah Schachner, as well as an original song by Einar Selvik. The novel Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – La saga de Geirmund, written by Matthew J. Kirby and to be published by Bragelonne, has also been announced.
