I bring bad news to all PS Plus Extra and Premium members who have started playing on subscription Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. It turns outthat although this production was one of those that promoted Sony’s service in the beginning, it won’t stay there for long. The title will cease to be available on December 20, 2022.
After that day, those who want to continue their Nordic adventure will have to purchase a copy of the game. Fortunately, it is currently heavily discounted – in the PS Store it can be purchased for PLN 95.37. However, players aren’t limited to buying AC: Valhalli in the PS4 or PS5 version (see box).
THE CLOUD SAVES
If you started AC: Valhallê in the Sony subscription it is possible to continue the game even on a different platform, without having to restart it. All you have to do is load an autosave after you buy it, for example on PC should create itself. You can verify its existence by selecting “Load game” – the “save” that will be available online is marked with a cloud icon (see screenshot below).
Removal Assassin’s Creed: Valhalli with PS Plus Extra and Premium it is a blow not only to the Sony service, but also to the players. Despite the title blow to subscription in June 2022 – when the “regular” PS Plus upgraded to the tri-variant version – but it takes around 60 hours to complete (via HowLongToBeat. com). “Maxing” takes more than twice as long. So it’s possible that many started the game but couldn’t finish it.
Another thing is that the finale of Eivor’s adventure is yet to come. It will be brought by the 1.6.2 update scheduled for December 6, in which a free DLC will be made available The last chapter, which is a sort of epilogue to the game. More details about it can be found in separate message.
It’s worth mentioning AC: Valhalla it’s not the first item to fall from Sony’s service. Previously, it was removed Red Dead Redemption, Shadow Warrior 3 I GreedFall.
