Being one of the backbone franchises that is absolutely impossible for Ubisoft to just leave, there is no better sentence to explain Assassin’s Creed’s current position. When many titles are dormant or end up being announced without further certainty, this open-world game continues to get attention through the announcement of various projects from confirmed AAA titles to mobile game projects. But who would have thought that this historically themed game with so many jumping and parkour scenes would end up being translated into a VR game. A project that finally showcased its gameplay.
Previously announced, Ubisoft finally showed and showcased more gameplay portions for Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR which were designed for Meta Quest. With a timeline that will revolve around several iconic characters from Ezio, Connor, to Kassandra, you can engage in stealth action or open melee combat with existing weapons. There is also a small portion of Leap of Faith shown off at the end of the trailer. Which are interesting? This project seems to be designed well enough to minimize dizziness with minimal head shaking animations.
Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR will be released in November 2023.
Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR itself is planned to be released on November 16 2023 for Meta Quest. There is no further information whether it will also be available for other VR devices or not. What do you think? Interesting?
