“Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Will It Be the Shortest Installment Yet?”

Fans of the stealth adventure series are looking forward to Ubisoft’s upcoming event – less than a month away, on June 12th, we should see the AC Mirage in action and learn some key official information. However, recent leaks indicate that the developers are working on an extremely compressed story.

Last week, insider j0nathan posted a video, thanks to which we learned a number of interesting details. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will reportedly debut on October 12, with gameplay reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed 1 and the protagonist getting a smaller skill tree. However, the significant news does not end there.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage could be one of the shortest installments in the series, with the story taking around 15 hours to complete. Recall that the game was originally supposed to be an addition to Valhalla, but it was expanded enough to become a standalone game. At the beginning of the year, creative director Stefan Boudon admitted that we will be dealing with a game that will be different from the large-scale worlds of previous parts.

As noted by Insider Gaming, the size of the AC Mirage map will resemble Paris in AC Unity or London in AC Syndicate. The plot will most likely begin with an unsuccessful robbery committed by Basim in his hometown – this event will force the main character to move to Baghdad, where a significant part of the game will take place.

Of course, these messages are not confirmed by anything, so they should be taken with a small amount of distrust and count down to Ubisoft Forward – the French will soon reveal all the cards.
