It is known that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is being created taking into account the wishes of fans of the first parts of the series. This is reflected not only in the setting, narrative structure and open world concept, but also in the art design.
What is known
Fans of Assassin’s Creed will remember that the first part of the game had a characteristic graphic style in gray and blue tones. Ubisoft has long announced that Mirage will have a similar filter to bring the game as close as possible to the 2007 style of play.
Game Informer Magazine interviewed from the game’s art director Jean-Luc Sala, in which he said that although the original style of Assassin’s Creed Mirage is very different from the visuals of the first part, the mentioned graphic filter will convey a nostalgic atmosphere and change the perception of Baghdad.
We know players (and I’m one of them) who feel nostalgic [к серо-голубым оттенкам первой части].
We want to show the Middle East setting in that light and say, “It’s here if you want it.” It’s like playing LA Noire with a black and white filter or Ghost of Tsushima with a Kurosawa filter.
This filter is optional and will allow you to experiment with the game visuals.
When to expect
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on October 5 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
Recently it became known that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on the iPhone 15 Pro.
