“Assassin’s Creed Mirage: First Footage Leaked – Fans Discuss Gameplay Revival”

On the night of Friday to Saturday, the first footage of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage was leaked. But we definitely don’t want to mystify you, especially on the weekend, so you already know the length of the clip from the title. It is only three seconds, and in poor quality, which is enough for fans to appreciate Ubisoft’s previously described approach to Mirage again. As the developers already stated during the announcement, the next part of the famous series should be smaller and mainly return the gameplay to the form that was characteristic of the series before Origins, Odyssey or Valhalla. And this is something that can also be reflected in the movement of the protagonist or partly in his equipment.

The clip appeared on Reddit, where it was shared by a user with the nickname tussaster, and shows Basim running through the suburbs. So probably Baghdad, where the game will take place. In the comments, players appreciate the traditional assassin clothes and the just-mentioned run, which apparently, thanks to the animation of the white robes, looks a little different than in the case of Eivor in the last installment with the subtitle Valhalla. We do not dare to evaluate the comments too much, because the quality of the clip is not good and everything can only be determined by a different body constitution, but at least the acceptance of the first shots and the mood around the game seem very optimistic.

But of course, there are also more moderate comments, for example pointing out that Ubisoft will only reuse assets from the Egyptian Origins and that Basim’s story was only supposed to fulfill the role of DLC, which Ubisoft will now try to sell as a full-fledged title. It’s too early to judge, but personally I have to say that I like the return to the original line about Assassins and Templars, and as you can probably guess, I also welcome the overall smaller size and more compact gameplay as a return to the better days in which the series was before. Naturally, we will only evaluate the full game.
