Set in ancient China, Assassin’s Creed Jade mobile has entered closed beta. Anyone could apply for access, but only selected individuals could actually start playing and gradually begin to find out how the game compares to big ones parts from consoles and computers. Even before that, however, we were able to watch leaked gameplay footage, in which the Great Wall of China appeared, parts of exploring the game world or combat, and Jade continues to ride the wave of leaks. It was precisely in connection with the beta that someone appeared again who decided not to respect the terms “closed beta” or “NDA”, and released new in-game footage he took online. And it was certainly not just a few fragments filmed with a mobile phone – we are talking about a very extensive video lasting over two hours.
Of course, such an amount of footage showed a lot, so everyone who still had time to record and watch the original recordings could look at a whole range of game mechanics or let themselves be introduced to part of the story. The leak, which was originally the responsibility of a channel called iMobile Gaming, has already managed to disappear from YouTube in its original form, but a two-minute video from a user with the nickname LolcatP, showing a very unexpected cameo – Kassandra, the central female character of Assassin’s, continues to spread. After her ascent in Valhalla, she returns again, this time to work with Wei Yue, whom we already know from Assassin’s Creed II as one of the seven legendary assassins, but then only in the form of a statue under Villa Auditore. Kassandra shows him a leap of faith and together they take care of the guards, as you can see in the video below. Later, there will also be a battle in the docks, while we can have a good look at the mobile HUD and the overall graphic side of the game. LolcatP also boasted on Reddit that the game runs better than he expected on his Pixel 7 device. If you happen to be wondering how Kassandra from ancient Greece found herself two hundred years later on the territory of China, look for an artifact in the form of the magic staff of Hermes Trismegistus, one of Isus. Among other things, it grants Kassandra or any other wearer immortality, thanks to which she could also find herself in the aforementioned Valhalla. It is unexpected, but within the lore of the game understandable jumper, but we do not yet know a more detailed game explanation from Jade.
It is also not yet known when we will see more of the game, and even better in an official way, or when the game might be released. However, Assassin’s Creed Jade is expected to arrive before the end of the year. We remind you that this is an exclusively mobile title, which only targets iOS and Android.
