Assassin’s Creed Jade: Developer Hints at Release Date as Fans Await Mobile Debut

Ubisoft and Level Infinite have been working on bringing Assassin’s Creed to mobile devices for some time now, with the project now finally called Assassin’s Creed Jade. The mobile game was announced a few years ago at the former Assassin’s Creed Showcase, and since then we’ve been treated to more trailers and even had the chance to play it as part of the Closed Beta Test. So, considering the game is currently being tested in the hands of fans, you might be wondering when will Assassin’s Creed Jade debut? The answer to this question is not in 2023.

Speaking with Level Infinite’s executive producer AC Jade’s Andrei Chan, he told us during this year’s Gamescom:

“Well, not before the end of this year because the next phase is[封閉測試2], so we didn’t have a chance to launch until we ran CBT2, collected feedback, and addressed that feedback. So, I would say, we’re committed to testing the game until the fans tell us, yes, this is the real Assassin’s Creed on mobile, this is the right experience, this is the right visual quality. So, we’ll probably sit down as a team and talk about when we release it and when we’re going to deliver all the other features that we still need to deliver for a mobile game, not just an Assassin’s Creed game, but a mobile Assassin’s Creed game.

Long story short, the developers are hoping to do another round of player feedback later this year before Ubisoft and Level Infinite commit to a release date.
