Codenamed Assassin’s Creed Infinity, the game is being developed with the premise of a unique and online environment, encompassing several historical events instead of focusing only on one, as previous titles had been doing, through periodic updates. The information is from the Bloomberg.
The project is still in the initial development process, built by the joint work of the Montreal and Quebec studios, responsible for Valhalla e Odyssey, respectively. The Quebec studio was chosen to be responsible for the franchise, but each of the two development teams will have its own creative director.
In publication in the official website of the company, Ubisoft claims that the idea is to collaboratively integrate the universe “less studio-centric and more focused on people and leadership, no matter where they are within Ubisoft”, but does not give details about the business model.
Assassin’s Creed Infinity did not have a release forecast released. The platforms that will receive the game have not been revealed.
