Datamine recently revealed more details about the Assassin’s Creed Animus Hub, formerly known as Assassin’s Creed Infinity. The new platform is set to launch at the same time as Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and the new leak revealed several details about the Battle Pass content and more.
The information came to light through a Reddit user u/Torah. For example, he revealed that the first battle pass will be called Eye in the Dark and that there will be around 20 different levels of cosmetic items. The leaker described all the items included, but unfortunately the post was deleted.
Additionally, more warpaths are already planned, and their names have also been released. We also get The Hidden Network, The Last Ronin and In The Shadows. All of them probably have 20 different levels.
Additionally, the datamine reveals that the Animus Hub will have an in-game store, where you can buy all sorts of cosmetic items for your character, environments and more. Just like Ubisoft already did in an earlier Assassin’s Creed game. However, fans were not too happy with the above leak. Many players predicted an excess of microtransactions and live service elements, forcing the publisher to respond to the leak, including through Reddit.
According to Ubisoft, the Animus Hub will receive regular updates (both gear and new missions), but all rewards will be completely free. The Hub does not receive a paid Battle Pass or paid membership.
There may also be daily missions to complete, but how much (or little) you complete of the Animus Center is entirely up to you. Of course, the option for other microtransactions is not excluded, but this may also include cosmetic skins for weapons, equipment or accessories. Something Ubisoft obviously did with the Helix Store.
