The tragic episode occurred after 11:30 yesterday morning in a warehouse located on Avenida 26 and Carrera 14, in the Los Molinos neighborhood, in the north of the Huila capital.
In videos from security cameras at the location, every step that occurred before, during and after the assault, perpetrated by three criminals who arrived aboard the gray XTZ and white Auteco Pulsar 200 line motorcycles, was recorded.
The images show when the subjects arrive on motorcycles at the warehouse, they stand meters in front of where the van in which Torres Muñoz is traveling is, two of the criminals approach the victim, who is with his wife in the vehicle. .
The victim, 56 years old, was at the site, apparently paying money to some workers, at which time two men on a motorcycle arrived at the site, who stripped them of their personal belongings.
After a few seconds of demanding that the victim hand over the bag with the money and when she refused, they shot her, causing a wound to her chest. “A struggle was recorded between the victim and one of the men, who fired a firearm, injuring Jesús at chest level,” said a source from the Neiva Metropolitan Police.
Immediately, another subject goes to where the contractor’s partner is, threatens her with a firearm and forces her to hand over her belongings.
With the loot in their possession, the assailants return to the motorcycles and flee the scene, but not before being overtaken by several workers. They manage to hit the barbecue worker severely, but they manage to flee.
In the image you can see when Torres Muñoz goes out to try to chase the criminals, but falls unconscious to the floor, is helped by the workers and taken to a care center in the Las Granjas neighborhood where he dies due to the severity of his injuries.
The source indicated that activities are being carried out to collect evidentiary material elements, such as verification of security cameras, with the purpose of identifying and individualizing the perpetrators of the crime.
