ASRock’s new line of graphics cards is the Steel Legend. The series was already part of the company’s motherboard portfolio, but has now moved into the GPU business.
The Steel Legend offerings are available in white and silver color schemes, a change from the darker Challenger and Phantom Gaming GPUs. Steel Legend won’t be the first white GPU, as Taichi White and Aqua cards have been released before.
Three fans and a dual-slot heatsink are included in the design, but this isn’t an entirely new look for ASRock GPUs. The Radeon RX 6750XT Challenger Pro has a very similar shroud with a different color scheme, but the backplate is undeniably brand new.
The card features a Radeon RX 7600 non-XT card, the upcoming entry-level model with a 2048-core Navi 33 XL GPU. This model will be equipped with 8GB of display memory and will come with a non-reference clock. As we’ve seen it’s powered by an 8-pin power connector, but considering this Radeon model has a 165W TBP, that should still be enough.
ASRock’s first Steel Legend graphics card is now expected to launch on May 25.
