Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Indonesia will receive another new car that is predicted to be a competitor to similar cars such as the Honda HR-V, Kia Sonet to Toyota Raize. This car comes from a manufacturer from South Korea, Hyundai.
It is reported that this car will be the type of car produced locally at Hyundai’s first factory in Southeast Asia, namely Indonesia. This SUV will be named the Hyundai Creta which has already been leaked in sketch form by Hyundai.
“Hyundai Creta is a product with Hyundai’s characteristics that is full of innovation and is specifically designed to meet the needs and modern lifestyle of the Indonesian people,” said Sung Jong Ha, President Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia in an official statement quoted on Saturday (10/23/2021).

This car is touted as one of the best-selling types of cars in the world. However, this type developed in Indonesia has innovations, ranging from new design approaches to the latest features.
From Hyundai’s description, the exterior of this car is equipped with Parametric Jewel Grille. It is the embodiment of the Hyundai Parametric Dynamics design theme.
In addition, there is a Parametric Jewel Hidden DRL which fully integrates the grille and lights so that the lamp display will not be visible when the lights are turned off. This SUV is also supported by Boomerang type rear light and High Mounted Stop Lamp (HMSL).
From the interior side, on the front side, the horizontal dashboard arrangement extends towards the door that forms the wing curve, with the aim of providing extra protection for passengers. Then, on the fascia, there is an 8-inch AVT screen that is integrated with the console in the middle.
Creta offers a D-cut steering wheel that accentuates a sporty impression as well as vertical ventilation that is integrated with the defogger. Also equipped with a three-dimensional patterned speaker grille and a Silver Bezel that wraps around the gear knob.
On the console, with good lighting, it is supported by silver-tone side trim. However, for official specifications, features, and prices, Hyundai Motors Indonesia will announce them in the future.
Not only a competitor to the Honda HR-V, Kia Sonet to Toyota Raize. However, this car will also compete with the latest Toyota Avanza and Mitsubishi Xpander which will be released later this year.
