In September, the asphalting of the first 12 km of the main repair of road III-907 Bosna – Vizica will begin. The contractor is currently finishing the final track preparation activities before the asphalt works start.
The new structure has been built, the drainage is being completed.
The total length of the section being repaired is 24.6 km. The clearing of tree and shrub vegetation continues at an accelerated pace, earthworks and excavation work are being carried out, old drainage facilities are being repaired, and new ones are being built. Work is underway on the construction of the road.
The asphalting of the rest of the section will take place in 2025. The deadline for the completion of the major repairs under the contract is April next year
For more than 30 years, the route, which is the only road connection for the villages of Byala Voda, Kalovo, Zabernovo and Vizitsa, has not been repaired.
With the completion of the construction and installation activities, the technical and operational condition of the road will be significantly improved, the safety and comfort of travelers will increase.
In the Burgas region, major repairs are being carried out on two more roads – road III-906 Staro Oryahovo – Gyulovtsa and road III-992 Rosen – Yasna polyana, which are alternative routes for those traveling north and south of Burgas.
Road III-906 Staro Oryahovo – Gyulovtsa is an alternative route to Aitoski and Primorski Prohod, and III-992 Rosen – Yasna Polyana is an alternative route to road II-99 Burgas – Primorsko.
