On October 20, 1978, the Madrid group Asphalt acted in the Marquee Londoner, one of the rock temples in the city. Musicians of the stature of Jimi Hendrix played on stage at the Marquee, also the Rolling Stones they made their debut in that mythical room. All the big British groups have passed through the Marquee … And Asphalt! The band led by Julio Castejon it was the first Spanish band to play there. It coincided that Asfalto was in those days recording his second LP in London, “To the other side”. The great Marshal Romero was the architect that this could happen.
