Aspaym Castilla y León and the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities have presented a pioneering project this Monday in Ávila in the community and that will improve the lives of all people with disabilities in Ávila and the region. It is an Office of Universal Accessibility” Through an online platform, it will work with advice and consultancy in areas as diverse as architectural, digital, educational, leisure, resource or nutrition accessibility.
The president of Aspaym Castilla y León, Ángel de Propios, has indicated that it is not a resource aimed only at people with disabilities and their families, rather, it aims to reach all those professionals and sectors that want to work for accessibility.
The Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Isabel Blanco, has stressed that this platform “in addition to advising and helping people on accessibility issues”, pIt intends to “promote new actions that eliminate barriers that go beyond the physical.”
This office can be accessed electronically, but also through any of the Aspaym offices in Castilla y León.
This project has had a inversion of 435,000 euros charged to European Next Generation funds.
