FAJAR.CO.ID, DOHA — The Indonesian national team managed to achieve its first victory in the 2023 Asian Cup after defeating Vietnam.
This victory was achieved with a narrow score of 1-0 on the second matchday of the 2023 Asian Cup.
The match between the Indonesian National Team and Vietnam itself took place at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, Friday (19/1/2024).
This match itself was quite intense from the start of the match and even lasted for 90 minutes.
The Vietnam national team even had to play with 10 players in the 90+2 minute, after Le Pham Thanh was given a red card by the referee.
The only goal that was scored in this match came in the 42nd minute through Asnawi Mangkualam’s penalty kick.
The Course of the Match
Since the start of the match, the Indonesian National Team immediately took the initiative to attack first by pressing Vietnam’s defense.
