The dramatic match at the National Stadium was won by the Garuda squad with a score of 4-2 via extra rounds. At the end of the second half the score was 2-2.
Singapore received a penalty after Primary Arhan committed a violation in the forbidden box. But the executioner Faris Ramli failed to complete the task.

His right foot kick into the right corner was pushed over by Indonesian goalkeeper Nadeo Argawinata. Asnawi Mangkualam then ran towards Faris who was hit after failing to kick a penalty.
