A number of names of ministers were rumored to be included in the possible reshuffle plan by President Joko Widodo.
Responding to this, the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini confessed to knowing absolutely nothing about reshuffle issues.
Risma said that the policy regarding the cabinet reshuffle was President Jokowi’s absolute decision.

Risma said that he had only served as Minister of Social Affairs for about 4 months in the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin’s cabinet.
For that, he did not want to think about the reshuffle and chose to do his job at the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Previously it was reported, the issue of a reshuffle in the Palace circle was blowing after Jokowi met with the Chairperson of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Megawati Soekarnoputri.
In addition, there is also the issue of merging the Ministry of Education with the Ministry of Research and Technology, as well as the formation of the Ministry of Investment.
The DPR approved the formation of the Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in a plenary meeting at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (9/4/2021).
The formation of the two ministries is in accordance with the results of the Deliberative Council’s decision on Thursday (8/4/2021), which discussed a letter from President Joko Widodo regarding the consideration of changing the ministry.
Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, stated that the meeting agreed on two things.
First, the merger of some of the duties and functions of the Ministry of Research and Technology to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
Second, the establishment of the Ministry of Investment to increase investment and job creation.
