A bout that could define the next challenger for the flyweight belt has been added to UFC Columbus. Askar Askarov will face Kai Kara-France.
The match was revealed by MMA Junkie the early morning of this Saturday.
Askarov, got his wish. After seeing Kara-France asking for a starting chance, the former champion of ACB went to his account Twitter and suggested a match between the two to define the next challenger for the flyweight belt.

After drawing in his debut against Brandon Moreno in UFC Mexico, Askar he won his next three fights. In his last fight, he beat Joseph Benavidez by unanimous decision in UFC 259. Now, he will seek to impose himself on the Australian to finalize his revenge with the current monarch of the division.
Kara-France, is on a two-win streak. Kai comes from knocking out the former champion Cody Garbrandt in UFC 269. Kai became known for his passage in season 24 of The Ultimate Fighter and also for his strong striking, with 11 wins for WHO / WHO. A victory against Askarov, I would not leave doubts about a starting chance.
UFC Columbus It will be held on March 26 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
