Ask the KPK to Investigate the Terms “Bapakmu-Bapakku” and “King Maker” in the Case of Djoko Tjandra, MAKI Submit 200 Pages of Documents

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society ( MAKI) Boyamin Saiman claimed to have submitted 200 pages of documents to NCP case related Djoko Tjandra.

In his statement, Boyamin also showed footage of the alleged conversation between prosecutors Pinangki Sirna Malasari and Anita Kolopaking when arranging a fatwa to help release Djoko Tjandra.

The conversation snippet consisted of four lines of sentences which read, “Sir, I’m going to the top this afternoon at 12”; “No wonder you can’t attend”; “That’s not it too ma’am”; and “Krn Kingmaker isn’t clear too ‘.

Boyamin hopes that these materials can be used by the KPK to supervise cases handled by Bareskrim and the Attorney General’s Office.

Boyamin also asked the KPK to immediately investigate and investigate the evidence that he had submitted.

“We still ask the KPK to carry out new investigations and investigations on the material ‘Bapakku and Bapakmu’ and ‘Kingmaker’ because it has been structured, systemic, and massive (TSM) in the case of the JST release plan,” said Boyamin.

Boyamin said he would also file a pretrial against the KPK if the KPK did not follow up on the materials he had submitted.

“The pretrial which we will propose later is also used as a means to open all the contents of the document so that the public will know it legally before the judge,” said Boyamin.

Meanwhile, KPK Deputy Chairman Nawawi Pomolango said the KPK was ready to investigate the alleged involvement of other parties as reported by MAKI.

“God willing, because the file of prosecutor P (Pinangki) has been submitted to the trial, it is open for the KPK to initiate an investigation into the names submitted by MAKI as long as it is supported by sufficient evidence for that,” said Nawawi, Saturday (19/9/2020) .
