On Tuesday, 45 new cases of infection were registered in Bergen, the municipality reports on its website.
This is an increase from 38 the day before, and 17 on Sunday.
36 are close contacts, and two are import infections, the municipality states.
At the same time, people who have been to the nightclub Hector’s dormitory in the period 30 April to 3 May are encouraged to get tested, due to “many cases of infection” associated with the place.
The nightclub closed for a weekend on May 6, after two employees were diagnosed with the infection. It wrote Bergensavisen.
The employees who have been diagnosed with infection were at work on Friday 30 April, Saturday 1 May and Monday 3 May.
– It is of course strange that we have to close, but we are in a pandemic, and we have been for over a year. We do not have the opportunity to stay open with only one employee and the rest in quarantine, said operations and finance manager Isabel Eidesund at the nightclub to BA.

Eidesund tells Dagbladet that she is aware that there have been cases of infection in connection with the place.
– We went out with the infection cases ourselves on our websites when we became aware of them, and have sent lists of visitors to the infection tracers, she says to Dagbladet.
