The training of unemployed people is one of the strategic axes of the Association of Metal Industries and Associated Technologies of Galicia (Asime), as shown by its Integrated Employment Program (PIE), which this year celebrates its fourth edition.
Thus, as the entity announced yesterday, this training initiative is now being joined by a second one, completely free of charge thanks to a financing agreement from the Consellería de Promoción do Emprego. There are a total of 18 courses, 15 face-to-face and the rest online, designed to provide participants with key skills in high demand in the Galician industrial sector.
The training, Asime detailed, will last between 40 and 60 hours and are aimed at both unemployed people and active professionals. Similarly, the face-to-face courses, which will be held at the headquarters of the entity in the A Gándara industrial estate -in the Arena 76 business center-, will have a maximum of 12 students, while the telematic format will have 20.
As for the program, the training that will be carried out at the Ferrol facilities will be Basic Warehouse and Forklift Operations, from June 14 to 29; Conversation level English 1 and 2, from May 18 to 31 and from June 7 to 20, respectively; Occupational Risk Prevention, from May 22 to June 6, in addition to two other courses in September and October; Bridge crane, from May 22 to June 6; Renewable energies, from June 14 to 29; and Microsoft Office, from June 14 to 29. Likewise, between September and October, training actions will also be held on electrode and TIG welding, autocad, air conditioning and marketing.
Finally, those of the online modality will be PMI project management “, from May 24 to July 4; Web positioning, from May 26 to July 6; and Balanced Scorecard, from May 25 to June 21. Those interested in participating may register through the entity’s official website (asimeformación.es).
