The Central Jakarta Social Service Sub-dept. together with the Satpol PP continue to launch the Asih Asuh Operation for people with social welfare problems (PMKS).
In general, PMKS in Central Jakarta are scavengers, buskers, and ‘silver’ people. Apart from that, there are also abandoned elderly people, buskers in clown costumes, beggars, and homeless people.
The implementation of the Asih Asuh Operation is carried out with a persuasive and humanist pattern of action. The PMKS who are caught will be taken to the puskesmas first to undergo an antigen swab test. After that, he went to a social institution for further coaching.
