Asian Champions League standings after Persib were beaten by Zhejiang FC

Persib Band another defeat after being beaten by Zhejiang FC 0-1 in Asian Champions League 2Thursday (3/10). The following are the standings for Group F of the Asian Champions League 2.

Persib felt the second defeat when they visited the Zhejiang headquarters at the Huanglong Sports Center Stadium. Instead of getting the first point, Persib fell 0-1.

The hosts’ only goal was scored by Jean Kouassi in the 71st minute. Kouassi took advantage of the hole in the Persib defence.

Defender Victor Igbonefo made a mistake on the opponent’s ball. Victor’s header, who wanted to throw the ball, kept the ball rolling in the penalty box.

Kouassi also punished Persib for making mistakes. Kouassi’s kick was pushed over by goalkeeper Kevin Mendoza, but the ball still went into the goal.

Koassi’s goal also saw Persib fail to take home points from China. Persib’s loss against Zhejiang changed the position of Group F of the Asian Champions League 2. Persib are now bottom of Group F of the Asian Champions League 2.

Persib failed to pick up points from two games after losing 0-1 to Port FC earlier. While the Singapore club Lion City is at the top of the standings, the Thai club Port FC is in second place, followed by Zhejiang in third place.

Meanwhile, another match in Group F between Port FC vs Lion City was postponed due to heavy rain in Bangkok, Thailand.

From this group stage, only two teams, the champion and the runner-up, have the right to qualify for the round of 16.
